Daughter of Coleman Jarred (Jart) & Mary Jane Warrick Hudson. She married Gideon ( Gid) Edward Grantham December 26, 1889. The had ten children with six that lived to adulthood.

Mrs. G.E. Grantham
Goldsboro- The funeral of Mrs. G. E. Grantham will be conducted from the home on North Virginia Street at 2:30 Friday afternoon by Rev. O.W. Does, pastor of St. Paul Methodist Church. Funeral rites were delayed until Friday awaiting arrival of Dr. David Grantham from San Francisco. He is expected to make the trip by airplane.

Mrs.Grantham, 63, highly esteemed Goldsboro woman, died at her home 2:45 Wednesday night, having been in feeble health for several years. She was, before marriage, Miss. Betty Hudson of Wayne County. She was the widow of G.E. Grantham, who was, for twelve years Register of Deeds for Wayne County. She was a member of Fallibg Creek Methodist Church in Grantham Township.

Surviving are six children; Mrs. William Hood of Grantham, Miss. Jessie Grantham, Mrs. Susie Jones, and Mrs. Bryan Aycock of Goldsboro; Mrs. Leon Quinn of Washington, D.C., and Dr. David Grantham of San Francisco, Calif. and a number of grandchildren.
