Services for Ted Weldon Young, age 79, of Tyler, will be held on Saturday, November 16th, 2019 at 10:00 AM at Broadway Church of Christ in Tyler, with Phil Hancock officiating.

Burial will follow Cathedral of the Pines Cemetery with Military Honors in Tyler, under the direction of Jackson's Burk Walker Tippit Funeral Home.

Ted passed away on Tuesday, November 12th, 2019 at UT Health Hospital, Tyler.

He was born February 12th, 1940 in Tyler to Velvie and Clarence Young.

Ted was married 51 years to Helen Elizabeth Young. He was a retired business owner and a salesman. He served in the US Navy.

Ted was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Velvie Young; daughter, Debra Kay Young and grandson, Steven Ray Tanner.

He is survived by wife Helen Elizabeth Young; daughters, Julie Ann Young Moore and Pamela Jane Young Harjo; seven grandkids and four great-grandkids.

Visitation is scheduled from 6pm to 7:30 pm on Friday, November 15th, 2019 at Jackson's Burks Walker Tippit Funeral Home.
