Marta Juliana Gonzalez, 86, of Russellville, finished her earthly course, Wednesday, November 13, 2019, at Saint Mary's Regional Medical Center in Russellville. The daughter of Antonio and Ana Gonzalez Carrillo, she was born February 6, 1933, in Santa Lucia, Oriente, Cuba. She married Julio R. Gonzalez on May 4, 1959, in Havana, Cuba.

She was a minister with the Church of God Holiness where she had served as Pastor, in addition to serving as Co-President of the Nazarene Bible College in Havana, Cuba; and The Bible Missionary Institute in Mexico. She enjoyed sewing, reading, Youtube, social media and spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter-in-law, Christina Gonzalez, seven sisters and four brothers.

Survivors include her husband of 60 years, Julio R. Gonzalez of Russellville; two daughters, Rebeca Beavers (Kevin) of Russellville; Fe Barton (Boyd) of Dover; two sons, Sam Gonzalez of Crosby, TX; Obed Gonzalez of Russellville; ten grandchildren, Kevin, Kimberly, Jeanifer, Rosana, Chrystal, Daniel, Caroline, Georgia, Jenna, Parker and a sister, Marian Galvez of Russellville; sixteen great grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews and friends.

Visitation will be 6:00 to 9:00 pm, on Thursday, November 14th, 2019 at Humphrey Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 pm, Saturday, November 16th, 2019 at Brookside Funeral Home in Houston, TX. Burial will be at Brookside Memorial Park following the service.z
