Frances Gebb Kasper, daughter of Francis & Veronica Honeck Gebb, immigrated to America from Germany with her parents & siblings. They boarded the Copernicus Ship and departed Bremen, Germany. They arrived Baltimore, Maryland on June 7, 1844 and they resided in Pittsburg, PA for several years. Frances moved to Indiana with her husband, Nicholas and their children.

Mrs. Frances Kasper
Death of a Devout Catholic Lady

Mrs. Frances Kasper, who died yesterday, was born in Germany, Feb. 14, 1829. At the age of 12 years she came to this country with her mother and several sisters. She was married to Nicholas Kasper, May 29, 1850. There was born to them five children, four sons and a daughter, of whom two survive: J. J. Kasper and M. A. Kasper. On the 29th of May 1900, they celebrated their golden wedding. They had lived together 54 years, when on the 10th of December 1904, her husband died. Since his death she has made her home with her son, J. J. Kasper. For the last five years she had suffered more or less with rheumatism and died with infirmities of old age. She was a devout member of St. Mary's church and also a member of the Altar Society for 25 years. Her oldest grandson, Rev. M. A. J. Kasper, will conduct the funeral services. The funeral will take place Tuesday morning, Nov. 16, at 9 a.m. from St. Mary's church.

Burial of Mrs. F. Kasper

The funeral of Mrs. Frances Kasper took place from St. Mary's Church this morning and was largely attended. Very touching and appropriate religious services were conducted by Rev. M. A. J. Kasper, grandson of the deceased, assisted by Rev. E. T. Hilger, pastor of St. Mary's after which the remains were conveyed to St. Joseph's Cemetery for burial.

Those who served as pall-bearers were grandsons of the deceased, as follows: Frank Kasper, Charles Kasper, John Kasper, Oscar Kasper, Jacob Kasper and Aloysius Kasper.
