Wayne Dale Morris “Dale”, 60, a lifetime resident of Granville County passed away Monday, November 11, 2019 at his home.
A native of Granville County, he was the son of the late Luther Russell Morris and Thelma Bowling. He was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church and was retired.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, November 16, 2019 at Mt Zion Baptist Church at 2:00 PM by Reverend Keith Williams. Burial will follow in the Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery in Berea, NC.
Surviving are his wife of forty-two years, Linda B. Morris of the home, two daughters; Jennifer Morris Anderson (James) of Creedmoor, Amanda Morris of Durham, a sister; Judy Rose Stone (Roosevelt) of Virgilina, VA., two brothers; Donnie Morris of Berea, Stevie Morris (Ginger) of Berea, five grandchildren; Gracelyn Anderson, Gabriel Anderson, Kylie Jones of the home, Keigan Allen and Elijah Allen. He was preceded in death by one sister and three brothers.
Visitation will be held Saturday, November 16, 2019 from 12:30-1:45 PM at Mt. Zion Baptist Church and other times at the home.
