Randy “NightTrain” Dye, age 62, of Doran, VA passed away Wednesday, November 13, 2019 in Tazewell, VA. Born September 17, 1957 in Richlands, VA, he was the son of the late Junior “Mop” and Doris Compton Dye.

Randy was the owner and operator of Train Enterprise, Inc. for 11 years. He enjoyed golfing, trout fishing, and playing cards. He loved spending time with his granddaughters.

He is survived by his loving wife Tammy Dye; one daughter, Jenny Dye; three brothers, Rick Dye, Timbo Dye and wife Darlene, and Gary Dye; two granddaughters, Alyssa Rose Miller and Shaylee Rae Miller; several nieces, nephews, and family; special friends, Bob Moir, Boo Stamper, Randy Mitchell, and many others.

The family will receive friends from 11:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. Saturday, November 16th at Singleton Funeral Service in Cedar Bluff, VA.

Funeral Services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. at the Singleton Funeral Service Chapel with Rev. Billy Harrison officiating. Burial will follow in Greenhills Memory Gardens Cemetery at Claypool Hill, VA. Pallbearers will be Bob Moir, Greg Mance, Randy Mitchell, Joe Bandy, Sam Dye, Gary Radcliff, and Boo Stamper. Honorary Pallbearers will be all of his golfing and trucking buddies. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family.
