Peggy Ann Hart, 74 of Stratford, passed away on Wednesday, November 13, 2019. Graveside services will be held at 11 o’clock in the morning on Saturday, November 16, 2019 at the Stratford Cemetery with Rev. Kevin Anderson and Rev. Darla Anderson officiating. The family will receive friends from 5 o’clock until 7 o’clock in the evening on Friday at the funeral home. Arrangements are entrusted to Morrison Funeral Directors.
Peggy was born on May 18, 1945 in Boise City, OK to Walker and Rose (Stassi) Taylor. She grew up in the Stratford area where she attended school. Peggy would eventually move back to Boise City where she raised her girls. She was a devoted homemaker who loved to dance and bake food for her family during the holidays. Above all, she just enjoyed being around her family. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Boise City.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister: Darla Cummings.
Peggy is survived by her daughters: Christi Duvall and husband Devin of Rogers, AR and Debbie Hart of Guymon, OK; grandchildren: Sydney and Macy and numerous other extended family members.
The family suggest with gratitude that memorials be made to Memorial Hospice, 224 E 2nd, Dumas TX 79029.
