Wayne Hill Sr., 74, passed away on Aug-28-2019 in McAlester, OK. He was born in Wetumka, OK on Sept-1-1944 to Noah and Ruby (Strayhorn) Hill and lived most of his life in Gans, OK, having been raised in Paw Paw Bottoms. He owned Poor Boy feed store, served on Gans School Board for multiple years, help start the Central Fire Department, was involved in agriculture and livestock and the livestock auctions. He enjoyed classic cars, farming, fishing, and antiques.
He is survived by 3 children, Wayne Hill Jr and Wife Shannan Hill of Gans, Kevin Hill and wife Tonya of Gans, and Jessica Hill of Claremore. Grandchildren, Justin Ray, Kaitlyn, John, Matthew, Darren and Blaz Hill, Lindsay Johnson, Brodie Couse, Lilyan Ragan, and multiple great grandchildren nieces, and nephews; brothers, Dean Hill and wife Polly Hill of Muldrow, Eldon and Jean Hill of Muldrow, and sisters, Sis and Ruby of California. Wayne was preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Donald Hill, Viola Pullam, Laura Sussek, Joyce Lewis, and Elec Hill.
Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, Sept, 4, 2019 at 4:00 pm at the Muldrow Memory Garden Cemetery, Muldrow, Ok, with Heath Wood officiating.
