Lee Lillard Osborne passed away on November 11, 2019 in Beckley, WV at the age of 80. Lee enjoyed hunting and fishing of all sorts. He was a US Army Veteran having served in Germany and throughout the states. He was a life-time member of the Local VFW. His true passions in his life were his family and grandchildren. He was a selfless man always putting others first and compassionately helped others in need.
He was born on October 16, 1939 in Switchback, WV to his late parents Lilburn Leon Osborne (1901-1968) and Polly Jane Johnson-Osborne (1904-1988). Lee was preceded in death by his loving wife, Carolyn Jo Osborne (1944-2010); brothers, Kenneth Osborne (1930-Deceased) and Homer Stanley Osborne (1933-Deceased); sisters, Mary "Janice" Osborne-Martin (1942-2007), Martha Lucille Osborne-Harold (1926-2014), and Della Osborne-Phillips (1924-2019).
Lee is survived by his children, Patricia Osborne-Hollifield, Martha Osborne-Bell, Lea Ann Osborne-Johnson & husband Brian Johnson, and Travis Richardson & wife Chelsea Richardson; twelve grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; one great-great grandson; brothers, Howard Billy Joe Osborne (B. 1927) and Wayne Osborne, both of CA; sister, Joyce Stanley of OH; and many nieces, nephews, and friends who will miss him dearly.
A Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, November 17, 2019 at 1:00 PM at Blue Ridge Funeral Home. Burial with Military Honors will follow services at Sunset Memorial Park.
