Funeral service for Stephen J. Walker, Sr. 71, will be on Friday, November 15, at 1 pm at New Hope Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Tommy Croom,officiating, Rev. Kerry Owens, eulogist. Interment with military honors will follow in New Hope Church Cemetery. Mr. Walker passed away on November 10, 2019. Mr. Walker's remians will arrive at the church one hour prior to his service. Awake will be this evening 6-8 pm. Mr. Walker served in the United States Army and retired from the Army National Guard. Survivors include his children: Barth, Stephen Jr., Andre, Omega, Quita, Rodriguez, Demetrius, Mario (LaKesha), Stephanie; his grandchildren; siblings: Thelma (Tommy), James (Dora), Robert, Jennifer (Karl), Carol, Gregory, Carl (Alfreda), Ava; special friend; Barbara, other relatives and friends.
