William Jacoby, who lived on his farm near Walton, Cass county, was found lifeless in the yard of his home, Thursday evening of last week, his death having been caused by a heart attack. He was 62 years of age, and was a son of T. J. Jacoby, deceased, of Mulberry. He was married twice, and was the father of children by both marriages. He is survived by the wife and children, two sisters, Mrs. H. G. Sense, of Lafayette, and Mrs. Edw. Haas, of Decatur, Ill., and by two brothers, James and Milburn. Only last week he was in Mulberry and made arrangements for the burial of his younger brothers in case he outlived them, remarking at the time, "I may go first." He also made arrangements to serve as agent for the local insurance company in his territory.
