Linotype Operator Dies at Yuba Home
Special to the Union. HAMMONTON (Yuba Co.). May 23.- Robert Garrett Millar, a well known linotype operator, died last night at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Robert M. Millar, in Hammonton, at the age of almost 29 years following an illness of several weeks.
Garrett Millar was employed in newspaper offices In Oroville and Chico and before his illness had been working in the state printing office. Besides his parents he is survived by two brothers. Gavin F. Millar, now in South America, and Hansen Millar of Glenn county.
The funeral will be held Monday afternoon from the family home at 1 o'clock and the interment will be in the Marysville city cemetery.
