Joshua David Henson, 13, Palmyra and formerly of Austin, died Thursday, July 12, 2007, in New Albany.

He was born on Aug. 26, 1993, in Seymour, the son of Jerry and Josephine Hopper Henson.

He was an eighth grade student at Shiloh Holiness Christian School and belonged to the Shiloh Pilgrim Holiness Church, both in Corydon, and was a previous member of Madison Pilgrim Holiness.

Surviving are his parents; a brother, Timothy Orville Henson of Palmyra; two sisters, Jessica Marie Wolf of Madison and Sara Christine Hilderbrand of Seymour; a paternal grandmother, Mary Ruth Brummett of Austin.

He was preceded in death by three grandparents.

Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday at the Stewart Funeral Home in Scottsburg. Burial will follow at Crothersville Cemetery.

Friends and family may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday and after noon Monday to the funeral home.

Memorial donations can go to the donor's choice.
