HIGH POINT - Charles Quentin Church, 75, a resident of Graybrier Nursing Home in
Trinity, died Dec. 24, 1994, at his home after a long period of declining health.

Born June 16, 1919, in Watauga County, he was a son of Coly and Ila Andrews. He
was a resident of the High Point and Trinity area for 35 years and was a retired truck
driver for Fredrickson Trucking Co.

A member of Grace Baptist Church, he was also a veteran of World War II, having
served in the U.S. Army. In 1935 he married Alma Austin, who died in 1988.

Surviving are a son, Michael Otis Church of Atlanta, Ga.; a sister, Helen Green, of
High Point; a half sister, Laura Jones of Lenoir; a brother, Willard Church, of Lenoir;
and two grandchildren.

A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Floral Garden Park Cem-
etery by the Rev. Mel Anderson.

The family will be at Sechrest Funeral Home today from 7 to 8:30 p.m.
