Steven J. Stanley, age 24, of Wheelersburg, passed away Sunday, November 9, 2014, in Portsmouth, Ohio. He was born October 23, 1990 in Gallipolis, Ohio. Steven was an avid Ohio State Buckeyes fan and he loved and enjoyed spending time with his son. He is survived by his dad and mom, Bill and Linda Gilliland McGinnis of Wellston; parents, James Stanley of Portsmouth and Tiffani Stanley of Florida; son, Jayden R. Stanley of Portsmouth; sister, Lynnesi Myers of Wellston; brothers, Josh Ray of Columbus, Jerad Stanley of Jackson and Justin Ohm of Wheelersburg, as well as several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Calling hours will be Thursday from 4 to 8 P.M. at the McWilliams Funeral Home in Wellston. Funeral service will be Friday at 1 P.M. at the McWilliams Funeral Home with Pastor Steve Mathews officiating. Burial will follow in the Real Friends Cemetery at Pattonsville.
