Roger served in the Air Force as an Airborne Radio and Crypto Operator (1952 to 1956.) Graduated from Marquette University in 1961 with a degree in Business Administration, his work included a long and successful career in the pharmaceutical industry. Beginning his career as a salesman with S. J. Tutag, he later was a pioneer of the generic industry by forming and becoming the initial president of Geneva Generics, as well as the president of Cord Laboratories.
His greatest passion was being of service to others: he delivered meals on wheels for over 10 years, volunteered at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in several capacities, also a CASA advocate.
Visitation will be Tuesday, November 19, 2019 from 5-7pm at Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 9998 Grant Street, Thornton.
Funeral Mass will be Wednesday, November 20, 2019, 10:30am at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, 11385 Grant Drive, Northglenn. Graveside Service with Military Honors will immediately follow at 1:15pm at Fort Logan National Cemetery
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting memorial donations go to the Alzheimer’s Association or Meals on Wheels.
