Lonnie Lee Workman, 77, of Lynbrook, NY passed away after a long illness with family by his side on Sunday, November 10, 2019. Born in Van, West Virginia Lonnie was the son of the late Lennie and Violet Workman. Lonnie is survived by his wife of 42 years, Debra (Ruggerio) Workman.

Lonnie spent most of his life living and working for the Village of Garden City on Long Island. In his free time he enjoyed the outdoors and had a passion for hunting, fishing, fixing things, and was a die hard fan of the NY Islanders.

In addition to his wife, Lonnie is survived by his two daughters Heather Workman and Kim Pascual, daughter in law Diane Wilkinson and son in law Brandon Pascual. His grandchildren Joseph Esposito and AJ Esposito. He is also survived by his brothers Larry, Leonard, Lester, Lloyd, and Lowell Workman of whom he shared many wonderful adventures. He was predeceased by his sisters Dorothy Workman and Shirley (Workman) Brown.

Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
