Mr. Jimmy Dean Riddle, beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend, age 81, of Siloam, NC, passed away peacefully on Monday, November 11, 2019, at Northern Regional Hospital surrounded by family and loved ones.

He was born and raised in Surry County by the late Porter Gray and Annie Mae Snow Riddle, where he planted roots and remained to meet and married the love of his life, his surviving wife, Fay Joyce Wall Riddle. This loving, lifetime union brought forth a wealth of family and loved ones left to cherish his memory; daughter and son-in-law, Tamara Fay “Tammy” and Clifford Walton, II; son and daughter-in-law, Charles Dean “Chuck” and Sheila Q Riddle; grandchildren, Breanna Dean Boss, Brooke Nicole Boss, Orrie Austin Boss, Tommy “TJ” Ledson Heath, Charleye Lonae' Riddle; great-grandchildren, Brendan Boss, Donovan Boss, Salem Boss, Reo Boss, Landon Boss and Ella Heath.

Mr. Riddle was an honorably discharged veteran of the US Air Force, a retired truck driver, a huge golf and Nascar race enthusiast and a member of Poplar Springs Baptist Church where he loved being at each and every opportunity. He spent a lifetime making people smile and spreading happiness simply by being close to him.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, November 14, 2019, at Poplar Springs Baptist Church at 2:00 pm. The Rev. Mickey Brooks will officiate the service. The family will receive friends at the church beginning at 12:00 pm until the time of the service. Interment with full Military Rites by Mount Airy Post 2019 and Pilot Mountain Post 9436 follow follow in the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Poplar Springs Baptist Church, 194 Poplar Springs Church Road, Siloam, NC 27047. The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff at Central Continuing Care for the love and care given to their loved one.
