Mr. Jerry Wayne Rollins, 70, died Thursday, October 10, 2019, at his home in Goodlettsville, TN.

Mr. Jerry Rollins was born July 3, 1949, Jefferson S.C. A son of the late Monroe Rollins and Mary Plyler Oliveira. He was a retired construction worker and a welder.

Jerry enjoyed writing, singing, and playing county and gospel music. He has several songs registered with BMI in Nashville, T.N. He was an avid fishmen and craftsman. He enjoyed cooking and gardening. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Navy with an Honorable Discharge in 1969. He spent his final years in Tennessee.

In addition to his parents, Jerry was preceded in death by 4 brothers, Donald Rollins, Edward Rollins, Marcel Oliveira, and Ricky Oliveira; 1 sister, Anna Rivers Polk, and 1 grandson, Cliston Justice Brumett.

Survivors: life partner Joyce Love Rollins of 25 years, and her family of Tennessee. One daughter, Tracy Cagle, one granddaughter Hailey Brumett, and stepdaughter Tonya Cagle of Pageland, S.C. Two brothers; Larry (Shirley) Rollins of Waxhaw, N.C., Anthony Oliveira of Springfield, M.A., Two sisters: Louise (Jim) Rallings of Florence, S.C. and Dee (Steele) Fuller of Caledonia, N.Y., 10 Nephews and 3 Nieces.

Mr. Rollins will be laid to rest with Military Honors Thursday October 31, 2019 at 2:00 pm at Middle Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery.
