Steven P. Cox, 64, of Emmet, Arkansas passed away Friday, November 8, 2019 in Hot Springs, Arkansas.

He was born June 16, 1955 in Wichita, Kansas to Marvin Doral and Edna Mae Watson Cox.

Steven was a Construction Supervisor for Smith Doyle Co. and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and building things.

He is preceded in death by his father.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Lynn Cox of Emmet; three sons, Brian Cox and wife Johannah of Bismarck, Jason Cox and wife Kim of Prescott and Justin Cox and wife Jenny of Emmet; his mother, Edna Cox of Kimberling City, MO; three sisters, Carol and Allen Able of Duluth, MN, Marilyn and Kenny Colbert of Edgerton, MO, Deb and Calvin Applegate of Augusta, KS; seven grandchildren, Nikki, Chase, Caleb, Colby, Haley, Harleigh Brooke and Andrew Cox.

Visitation will be 1:00-2:00pm Tuesday, November 12, 2019 at Herndon-Fuqua Funeral Home Prescott with Chapel Service beginning at 2:00pm. Interment will follow in DeAnn Cemetery with Bro. Neal Ridling officiating under the direction of Herndon-Fuqua Funeral Home Prescott.
