Funeral services for Danny Leddell Robinson Sr., 75, of Glenn Heights, TX will be at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 16, 2019, at Eubank Funeral Home. Bro. Ronnie Daniell officiating.
Mr. Robinson passed away on November 10, 2019 in Waxahachie, TX. He was born on October 13, 1944 in Rains County to Elmer T. Robinson and Seleda Porter Robinson.
Danny grew up in Dallas County. He graduated from Grand Saline High School and got his Associate Degree at El Centro College. Danny played baseball in high school, even had a couple of scouts look at him. Before an injury took him out of the game, he played against Nolan Ryan, Danny's team won. He attended Dallas Baptist University. Danny started and owned D. L. Robinson Drywall Inc. On June 14, 1963 he married Betty Mae Wright, the love of his life.
Danny was know as "Dr. Dan" because he could fix anything. He loved hunting, especially deer hunting. Danny and his wife loved to travel. Traveling to about 42 different states. He's favorite pass time was watching the Cowboys. He loved spending time with his family.
Danny is survived by his wife, Betty Robinson; daughter and son in-law, Tammy and Greg Gray; grandchildren, Blaze and Mayleigh.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Elmer and Seleda Robinson; brother, Sammy Robinson and grandson, Colton.
Family will receive friends at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 16, 2019 at the funeral home.
Interment will be at Haven of Memories in Canton.
