Mrs. Freeman was born in Glendale, October 29, 1941, a daughter of the late Marion and Pearl Knighton Lawson. She was a graduate of Pacolet High School and retired from Her Majesty in Union. Mrs. Freeman was a member of Morningside Baptist Church.
Surviving in addition to her husband are a granddaughter, Marah Robinson; a grandson, Jacob Robinson; her son-in-law, Marty Robinson all of Union; a sister, Judy Howard of Alabama; a brother, Tom Lawson and wife Helen of Spartanburg and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Freeman was predeceased by a daughter, Melinda Freeman Robinson and four sisters and five brothers.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, November 15, 2019 at Union Memorial Garden conducted by Rev. Eddie Saxon.
The family will receive friends at the graveside following the services.
Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 901 S. Pine St., Spartanburg, SC 29302.
The family will be at their respective homes.
