She is survived by daughters, Jezlynne Wilson, Jaylen Wilson and Jiana Shafer-Wilson all of Jacksonville; parents, Rick and Mary Shafer of Jacksonville; brother, Michael Shafer of Jacksonville; nephews, Dakota (Abby) Cathers of Woodson, Cameron (fiancée, Miste Combs) Shafer and Hunter Baker both of Jacksonville; grand niece and nephew, Kailani Shafer and Kaidin Shafer both of Jacksonville; grandmother, Martha Shafer of Jacksonville and aunt, Nancy (Jerry) Gardner of Bowling Green, KY. She was preceded in death by grandparents, Robert and Esther Davenport and Ralph Shafer.
Samantha worked at Elm City for 5 years and at Pathway Services prior. She loved cooking and dreamed about opening her own restaurant. She was a devoted mom and friend.
A celebration of life will be held 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 20, 2019, at the Daws Family Funeral Home in Jacksonville. Memorials are suggested to the Wilson girls.
