Hastings resident Karen I. Stevens, 75, passed away Saturday, November 9, 2019, at her home.
Visitation will be from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, Friday, November 15, 2019, at DeWitt Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Hastings. Cremation and burial will be a later date. Memorials can be given to the family for a later designation.

Stevens was born February 4, 1944, in Hastings, Nebraska, the daughter of George and Blanche (Patterson) Fuller Sr. She graduated from Hastings High School with the class of 1962. Karen attended a business college in Lincoln, Nebraska. She worked for Metz Bakery and Bruckman Rubber, from where she retired. Karen married Merle Stevens on August 8, 1986, in Hastings, Nebraska. She volunteered at the Golden Friendship Center. Karen enjoyed her bowling league, husker games, fishing and collecting cookie cutters.
Karen is survived by her daughter Tammie (Jim) Johnson of Hastings, NE; step-son, Seth Stevens of Aurora, NE; grandchildren, Jessica Johnson, Lindsey Johnson, and Emmalee Johnson all of Hastings, NE; great-grandchildren, Kaylee Johnson and Addison Struss; sister, Linda (John) Beiriger of Hastings, NE; brothers, George Fuller Jr. of Englewood, FL and Dale (Jane) Fuller of Walnutport, PA; along with numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and an infant brother
