Rosetta Paulina Victoria Hoover Trumble, she was the daughter, of John Hoover, and Maria Louise Thomas Hoover, born in Milford, Iroquois Co Ill. 1864. She was married to Edward Trumble, 14, Feb. 1880, in Milford. He died 19, Jan. 1929. Watseka, Iroquois Co., IL. MRS. ROSA TRUMBLE DIES EARLY SUNDAY
Had Been an Invalid For the Past three Years - Was Resident of Watseka for Many Years
After an illness of three years, during which time she was confined to a wheel chair, Mrs. Rose Trumble, 64, widow of Edward Trumble, who died January 19, followed her husband in death, passing away Sunday morning at 6:30 o'clock at her home in west Watseka. Death was due to dropsy.
Mrs. Trumble was the daughter of John and Louisa Hoover and was born in Milford in 1865, but Watseka was her home for the greater part of her life. She was married at Milford on Feb. 4, 1880 to Edward Trumble and the couple moved here a short time later. This city was their home for 45 years with the exception of several years spent in Arkansas.
The deceased is survived by three daughters and four sons. They are: Mrs. Lule Hedgecoke of Utleyville, CO; Mrs. Lucy Edgell of Miami, AZ; Mrs. Clara Hyde of Winslow, AR; and Will, Omer, Jesse and Walter Trumble all of Watseka. She is also survived by four brothers: Tip Hoover of Watseka, Bud Hoover of Watseka, Claude Hoover of Danville and Jess Hoover of Watseka.
Mrs. Trumble was a devoted member of the Church of God and her funeral services were conducted yesterday afternoon by Rev. O. E. Wieringa from the Christian church. Burial will be at Oak Hill but will not be made until the arrival of one of the children, unable to be here in time for the funeral.
