A Homegoing Celebration for Mr. David Keith Douglas “Chilly Willie” of Tampa, Florida who passed away on Saturday, October 25, 2019 will be held on Saturday, November 9th, 11:00 a.m. at Aikens Funeral Home Chapel, 2708 E. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., Rev. Michael Neely, officiating. The interment will follow. David was born on November 9, 1967 in Tampa, Florida to Charles E. Douglas and Maxine Birch. He enjoyed playing basketball, spades and dominoes. He was preceded in death by his father, Charles E. Douglas and grandmother, Mattie Kennedy. He leaves to cherish his fond and loving memories with his mother, Maxine D. Douglas; brothers, Carlton, Brice, Michael Wade and Frank Wade; aunts, Lorine Simpson and Barbara Harris; uncles, Erick Harris and William Bell, Jr.; nieces, Carlette Brown, Jayda Wade, Brittany Wade and Kiana Wade; nephews, Carlton Brice, Jr.; cousins, Duane Colson and Lesha Harris; and a host of other relatives and friends. The visitation will be held at Aikens Funeral Home on Friday, November 8th from 5 to 7 p.m. The family will receive friends from 5 to 6 p.m. The family and friends will meet at the chapel on Saturday for the service.
