Funeral Services for Mrs. Lillie Berta Hood, aged 48, of Hebron in Livingston Parish near Denham Springs, who died at 8:55 p.m. Saturday at The Baton Rouge General Hospital following an extended illness, will be held today from the home of her daughter, Mrs. J. E. Hopkins at 236 South 21st Street. The funeral party will go to Hebron, where funeral services will be held at The Hebron Baptist Church, Rev. J. F. Arceneaux, officiating. Interment will be made in the Hebron Cemetery.

Mrs. Hood was born in Livingston Parish and has resided there all her life. She was a member of the Hebron Baptist Church.

Surviving her are her husband, Norris Hood, three daughters, Mrs. Hopkins of Baton Rouge, and Miss Wilma and Miss Ruby Nell Hood of Hebron and six sons, Lester, Garney, Deward, Norris, Jr., H. A. and Clifton Burnell Hood of Hebron.

Lillie Berta Harris Hood is the daughter of Hardy Ames Harris, Sr. and Mary Jane Nickens Harris. Lillie Berta Harris Hood was a twin to Lillian Bertha Harris Harrell.
