In the late 1960's Norma attended Mt. Sac Junior College and received her G.E.D. and A.A. degree. She went on to become an accountant for such names as Gladys Knight and the Pips and Forrest Mars of Mars Candy. She was also a long-time member of the Optimist International Club.
Some of her favorite hobbies were: Reading, sewing and knitting but she got the most joy from her cats and dogs.
She is survived by her 5 children: Richard, Craig, David, Stacye and Kelly Welch, her two brothers Dick and Vernon Young, and her 15 Grandchildren and 12 Great-Grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by: Billy Pritchard, Donald Welch and her Granddaughter Wendy Welch.
A private service was held by her family and friends.
