Norma Lee Welch passed away peacefully in her home on 11/27/2018. She was 85 years old. Norma was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma in 1933. She met her first husband Billy Pritchard and they were married in 1948. After Billy passed away in 1961, Norma moved to Las Vegas where she met her second husband Donald Welch at work. The two of them fell in love and were married a short time later.
In the late 1960's Norma attended Mt. Sac Junior College and received her G.E.D. and A.A. degree. She went on to become an accountant for such names as Gladys Knight and the Pips and Forrest Mars of Mars Candy. She was also a long-time member of the Optimist International Club.
Some of her favorite hobbies were: Reading, sewing and knitting but she got the most joy from her cats and dogs.
She is survived by her 5 children: Richard, Craig, David, Stacye and Kelly Welch, her two brothers Dick and Vernon Young, and her 15 Grandchildren and 12 Great-Grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by: Billy Pritchard, Donald Welch and her Granddaughter Wendy Welch.
A private service was held by her family and friends.
