Geraldine Mae “Gerry” Phillips, 77, of Huntersville, NC died November 10, 2019. She was born on August 26, 1942 in Syracuse, NY to the late Frank and Linda Lindkamp.

She graduated from SUNY Brockport with a degree in elementary education and taught in Fairport, NY and well as Henry County, VA. After moving to Reading, PA she became a senior center manager for 15 years. After retiring and moving the Charlotte, NC with her husband and daughter, she joined church activities through St. Mark Catholic Church. She became a member of Newcomers of South Meck/North Iredell where she spent time on the board as well as enjoyed various luncheons, trips, and activities. She loved to play cards, including bridge and euchre, and took up mahjong. She loved people and made friends wherever she went.

Survivors include her husband, Jim of Huntersville; daughter Laurel of Huntersville; siblings Paula Miller and James Lindkamp both of Rochester, NY as well as a number of nieces, nephews and their children.

A funeral mass will be held at 10:30 am Friday, November 15 at St. Mark Catholic Church, Visitation will be 30 minutes prior. The committal service will follow at Northlake Memorial Gardens.
