Ms. Kathy Christine Patterson, 67, passed away Sunday, November 10, 2019 at her residence.
Born April 4, 1952, she was a daughter of the late Angus Patterson and Marie Crosby Patterson. She was a member of Saint Anthony's Catholic Church. Kathy was always the life of the party, loved to help people and was a friend to everyone who she met. She loved helping her brother Angus clean shrimp, loved going to the Walterboro Elks Lodge where everyone there loved her, and enjoyed puzzle books and word searches. She especially loved playing with her nieces and nephews and spending time with her friends at Special Gatherings.
Surviving are: her brother, Angus Patterson, Jr. of Ruffin; sisters, Ethel Bishop (Norris) of Johns Island, and Kate Stanley of Ridgeland; nieces, Suzanne Lewis (Robert), Jan Vazquez (Juan), Charity Patterson and Chastity Patterson; nephews, Grover Blain and J.J. Bishop; and great nieces and nephews; aunts, Doris Morrall and Pearl Bradham; uncle, Charles Bazzle; and special friends, Mary Jo Fox and Maria Patterson.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 2 pm, Wednesday, November 13, 2019 at Saint Anthony's Catholic Church, 925 South Jefferies Boulevard, Walterboro. The Final Commendation and Farewell will follow in Live Oak Cemetery, Walterboro.
The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6 until 8 at THE BRICE W. HERNDON AND SONS FUNERAL HOMES AND CREMATORY, WALTERBORO CHAPEL, 1193 Bells Highway, Walterboro
