Ethel May Epperson Adams was born August 27, 1923 in Lakin, Kansas to Glenn and Ruby Davison. She had 3 sisters and 5 brothers.
She married Lawrence Eston Epperson on May 4, 1941 at Garden City Kansas. They had 5 children, 2 girls and 3 boys.
Ethel loved to make “dresser” dolls. She was often called Guthrie’s Doll Maker. She gave dolls to all of her family and friends and donated many dolls to various organizations in Guthrie.
She is survived by her daughter Yvette Lane and husband Ralph of Garden City, Kansas, her son Larry Epperson of Guthrie, OK, her son Woodrow Epperson and wife Valerie of Guthrie, OK and one daughter-in-law Betty Epperson of Guthrie, OK. numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Private services will be held in Garden City, Kansas and Guthrie, OK.
