Services for Sherri Gale Allison Newton will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, May 24, 2003, at Resthavens Abbey Chapel. Burial will follow in Resthaven Memorial Park under the direction of Resthaven Funeral Home of Lubbock.
Sherri passed away May 21, 2003, in Greenville, Texas. She was born Sept. 5, 1957, in San Angelo. She graduated from Plainview High School in 1975. She worked as a travel agent in Lubbock and Dallas.
She is survived by her husband, Arnold Newton, and stepdaughter, Whitney, both of Greenville; her parents, Mark and Virginia Allison of Lubbock; brother, David Allison of Lubbock; and grandmother, Gladys Allison of Amarillo. Sherri was loved by all and will be missed.
