A native of Marion, Frank was born on March 1, 1922.
He proudly served his country during World War II in the United States Army.
Frank retired after being self-employed for many years as a Real Estate Developer. He was a patriotic man and enjoyed fellowship with other veterans. He was a sports enthusiast who liked to watch the Carolina Tar Heels and Carolina Panthers and also was an avid golfer, enjoying the time that he spent on the course with his family and friends.
Frank loved his family dearly and made a point to spend time with them, either camping or exploring the beautiful North Carolina mountains.
Frank is preceded in death by a daughter, Frankie Hall Jenkins; a son, Creighton Hall; and his wife of 70 years, Edna Cox Hall.
Surviving are a daughter, Jan Hall Goodson and husband Mitch of Marion, and two granddaughters, Lindsay Goodson and Andrea Jenkins.
A memorial service with military honors provided by the United State Army will take place on Tuesday, November 12, 2019 at 3:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church of Marion with Rev. Dr. Scott Hagaman officiating. The family will receive friends following the service at the church.
A private graveside service will be held at McDowell Memorial Park, where Frank will be laid to rest beside his wife Edna.
