The life of Tony Willis Foster also known as “Edward” began on July 6, 1937 and departed on February 2, 2019. Edward was born to the late Deacon John Will and Mother Beatrice Foster. He was proceeded in death by wife Carmen Foster, son Charles Foster, and four siblings Willie B Foster, Cora Foster, Patsy Kuester, and John Foster.
Life of Love – As guided by his parents at an early age Edward joined the Rocky Mount Bethel Baptist Church. Later in life Edward joined and served in the United States Army. After serving his country he moved to live many years in Brooklyn, New York. He worked as a truck driver and was member of the International Brotherhood of Teamsters and the New York Local Union #810. Edward enjoyed the New York lifestyle and his many friends. In 2015, upon his failing health he moved back to Georgia to live with his loving sister Lucille Glass. After returning, Edward enjoyed going to the Newnan Senior Citizens program. As health allowed he would attend church and family events. Edward loved his family.
Life of Family – It was God’s grace that allowed Edward to be a son, brother, father, granddad, family guy and friend to many. He lived and enjoyed life with a lot of laughter and lived it to the fullest. Always had a great smile and love to talk. Edward loved his family.
