Donald Grant Anderson, the bright little son of Mr. and Mrs. J. Grant Anderson died at his home in Pitcairn, Pa., Wednesday, Jan. 22, 1908 aged ten months and one day. His death was due to whooping cough. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Forrest at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Jehu Madden, Three Springs, Pa., grandparents of the child.

Death visited this home very sudden and unexpectedly and removed from it one very dear to the hearts of its parents.

Softly and gently an angel whispered:
"Come darling we want thee home.
Over here birds are singing,
And flowers are bright,
Glad voices are ringing
And all is pure light."
Listening, our darling heard the calling
And gaily answered, "Oh angel I come!"

Softly and gently the angel still whispers:
"Fear not thy darling is safe at home,
Where the birds are singing,
And flowers are bright,
Glad voices are ringing
And all is pure light."

We listen through our tears we answer:
"Tis best Oh God, Thy will be done."
