Margaret L. Ramsey, 93, died on February 26, 2019. She was born in Emmett to John C. and Rosa Bane. Marge and her five siblings grew up and went to school in Star. After graduating from Boise High School, Marge lived and worked in Boise. After World War II, she met and married Charles Mac Ramsey. Together they raised two children, Jeff and Joan. Marge worked for the Idaho Departments of Vocational Education and Health and Welfare. Marge and Mac enjoyed dancing, playing bridge, going to BSU football games, gardening, and spending time with family and friends. After Marge retired, she volunteered at St Luke’s Hospital, the Morrison Center, and her church. She also traveled to six continents with her good friend Dale Robbins. She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years; her parents, and four siblings, Ruth Goodwin, Edith Hughes, Blanche Williams, and Harry Bane. She is survived by her children, Jeff (Colleen) Ramsey of Boise and Joan (Phil) Schroeder of Bellevue, WA and grandson Kurt Schroeder of Reno, NV; and her sister, Joanne Campbell; as well as many nieces and nephews.
