East Alton—Kristina Sue Smith, 31, passed away Sunday, November 10, 2019 at her home.

Born Oct. 19, 1988 in Alton, she was the daughter of Richard L. Smith, Sr. and Lillian (Flynn) Smith of East Alton.

Kristina enjoyed visiting parks and being a mother, watching and participating in her children’s activities.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her children, Marvia Lawrence, Jr., Jamari Lawrence, Jaidon Lawrence, and Kristian Lawrence; her brothers, Richard Smith, Jr. and his wife Brianne of Godfrey and Matthew Smith of East Alton; her paternal grandparents, Lynn R. and Peggy D. Smith of Wood River; and other extended family and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Thomas E. and Gloria J. Flynn.

A celebration of her life will be held at Gordon Moore Community Park in Alton at a later date.
