Mr. Winston Auston Renfroe age 85 of Trion, GA passed away Saturday- November 9, 2019 at his residence.

Mr. Renfroe was born October 2, 1934 in Trion, GA to the late Willie and Palestine Hall Parker. He was raised in both Trion and Cherokee County, AL. He was first married to Sara Jenkins and had 3 children. In 1974 he married Marlene Phillips and acquired 2 daughters. He was an active member of Old Way Baptist Church. He had many passions in life including woodworking, gardening, fishing, playing the guitar, and singing. He loved hosting the shop pickers each Tuesday in his workshop. He was retired from Mount Vernon Mills, and was a member of the quarter century club, zero defects team, and the combined charity board.

Along with his parents he is preceded in death by his first wife, Sarah Jenkins Renfroe; a daughter, Sarah Ann Renfroe; siblings, Byrdie Thompson, Alvis Renfroe, and two infant brothers.

Survivors include his wife, Marlene Renfroe; son Foye (Dell) Renfroe and Thomas Renfroe; daughters, Beth (Howard) Hubler, Patty (Jeff) Lee, a special grandson, Colin (Sara) Crider, and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and his best friend & dog Buddy. He leaves behind an endless supply of memories along with countless pieces of his woodwork, crafts, songs, and priceless words of wisdom from his years on Earth. He will forever be with us in everything he has crafted with his hands, his words that echo in our minds, and most of all in each heart he touched.

Funeral services for Mr. Renfroe will be held at 3:00 PM Monday, November 11th, at the chapel of Mason Funeral Home with Rev. David Thompson officiating. Burial will follow at Spring Creek Cemetery with Joseph Thompson, Jason Thompson, Adam McGuire, Howard Hughes, Gary Woods, and Shannon Sipsy serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be the Shop Pickers.

Mr. Renfroe will lie in state and the family will receive friends Sunday from 6-8 at Mason Funeral Home.
