Son of the late James Joseph and Mary Julia Hart. He was in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War as a submariner on the USS Sennet #408. In 1956, he came to Brevard County with his first wife and three children. On June 7, 1980, he married Ingrid Hollmann Hart. He was an honorary member of the Masonic lodge #384 of Mims. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ingrid Hart; daughters, Dale Pittman and Nancy Carrizales; son, Eric Hollmann; grandson, Johnnie Gosnell. He is survived by his sons, David Hart (Phyllis) and Charles Hollmann (Kim); daughters, Susan Abel and Linda Herring; 18 grandchildren and 26 great-great grandchildren.
