Curtis Weldon Davidson, of Corsicana, Texas, passed away Sunday, June 16, 2019 in the arms of his loved ones at the age of 82. He was born in February of 1937 in Ennis, Texas. Curtis was one of five children born to the late William Horace and Odes Elizabeth (Caldwell) Davidson. He was employed at Eagle National Steel for twenty years.
He is preceded in death by his parents; infant son Robert Curtis Davidson 1967; two brothers: William Robert "Bill" Davidson, February 13, 1933 - May 16, 1968 and Jimmy Dupree Davidson January 13, 1935 - December 3, 1992; and two sisters: Lora Vida Davidson Gaston, May 6, 1931 - unknown, and Ermie Ann Davidson November 4, 1939 - unknown.
He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Lee Ann (Cain) Davidson; three children: J.W. Davidson, Javon Green, and Jill and husband Jimmy C. White; thirteen grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild; as well as many nieces, nephews and other extended family.
Visitation will be 6-8 PM Thursday, June 20, 2019 at Green Funeral Home
Funeral Service will be 1:00 PM Friday, June 21, 2019 at Green Funeral Home, Ferris, TX
Burial to follow at Palmer Cemetery in Palmer, Texas. Chaplain Stephen McElroy, Officiating.
