Karen Sue, the daughter of Elmer Clements Jr. and Frances Marie Blake Clements, was born October 17, 1957 in Highland, Illinois. Karen grew up in Greenville, attended the local schools and graduated from Greenville High School. She worked at DeMoulin Brothers in Greenville for several years and Third Street Market. She loved people and working at the antique store was a perfect fit for her. Karen enjoyed the Bond County Senior's Center and going out to dinner with friends and family.
Karen and Allan Joe Maples were united in marriage on October 9, 1982. They enjoyed 25 years together. Allan passed away July 21, 2007.
