Florence Elizabeth “Flo” Hopkins Clark Walters, 95, of Cumming, Georgia and formerly of Rockville, Indiana, passed away Thursday, November 7, 2019 at The Villas at Canterfield in Cumming, Georgia. She worked many jobs in her lifetime but the one she really liked was waiting tables. She was a waitress for 52 years, working at Colonial Kitchen, Raccoon Lake Restaurant, the Avalon and Turkey Run Inn.

She was born August 17, 1924 in Chrisman, Illinois to the late Ora Ethel Cutright Hopkins and Jesse Frantz Hopkins. She is preceded in death by two husbands, John Clark whom she married August 1, 1943 and JB Walters, whom she married May 22, 1972.

Survivors include one son, Dane (Jan) Clark of Flowery Branch, Georgia; daughter in law, Shirley Clark of Marietta, Georgia, four grandchildren, Philip (Laura) Clark, Alan Clark, Jason (Kelly) Clark and Morgan (David) Callaway; one great-granddaughter, Grace Clark, and nieces and nephews. She is also preceded in death by one son, Robert Clark on December 16, 2013; two brothers, Truman and Charlie, and four sisters, Dorothy, Mildred, Marie and Eula.

She was a 1942 Graduate of Ridge Farm High School, the Danville Illinois Business School and the Western Union Commercial School, and was a member of the Rockville First United Methodist Church.

Services will be 12:00 noon Thursday, November 14, at Gooch Funeral Home, 112 W. Howard Street, Rockville with Pastor Barbara A. Taylor officiating. Visitation is 10:00 am until 12:00 noon Thursday. Burial will follow in Forest Park Cemetery in Georgetown, Illinois.
