He was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus in Ellis. He was a lifelong area resident and operated a service station in Ellis for several years.
Surviving: his wife of the home; one sister, Mrs. Tillie Wasinger of Hays; and several nieces and nephews. The funeral was at 10 a.m. today, Thursday, in St. Mary Church; burial was in Mt. Hope Cemetery.
