Paula Sue Brown Edwards, 73, wife of Rev. Ben Edwards, passed away Thursday, November 7, 2019, at her home.

Born in Anniston, Alabama, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Mary Pitts Brown. She attended Holmes College of the Bible, Heritage Bible College, and served faithfully with her husband in ministry for more than forty years. Currently a member of Providence Pentecostal Holiness Church, Sue served the church faithfully as Pastor’s wife alongside her husband, Rev. Ben Edwards. In addition, Sue served with grace and distinction as the former Director of Women’s Ministries for Spirit Life Ministries of the International Pentecostal Holiness Church. She was also owner of Sue’s on Main Catering.

Surviving in addition to her husband Ben of the home, are daughters Stephanie E. Brode (Jack) of Abbeville, Sharolyn E. Goodman (Chris) of Ninety Six, and grandsons Garrison and Christian Goodman. She is also survived by her brother Randy (Vicky) Brown, sister Penny D. Brown, Ramona Ready and brother-in-law Danny (Christina) Sanders and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, and sister Phyllis B. Sanders.

Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Sunday at the Chapel of Blyth Funeral Home, with Bishop Ray Boggs and Ms. Donna Lance officiating. Burial will follow at Oakbrook Memorial Park.

Pallbearers will be Jack Brode, Chris Goodman, Neil Rapp, Eugene Fox, Chris Edwards, Michael Doiel, Jason Webb, Marcus Bonds and Matthew Capley.

The family is at the home and will receive friends following the committal service at Oakbrook Memorial Park.
