Shirley A. Ball, age 76, of Newport, passed away on November 8, 2019, after a 45 year battle with diabetes and then cancer.
She was preceded in death by her infant son, parents, Ed and Beatrice Boley, brothers, J. W. Boley, Ed Boley, Jr., and sister, Marjorie Rader.
She is survived by her son, Ricky Ball and wife Angela, granddaughter, Nicole Chrisman and husband Andy, two precious great-grandsons, A. J. and Wil Chrisman, nephews, Donnie Rader and wife Linda, and Steve Boley, and her friend Rhonda Ottinger that was like a daughter, close friends Janice Buda, Vicky and Mickey Powers, Amy Smith, and so many other close friends that Shirley wanted to say a special thank you to all of them.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm, Sunday, November 10, 2019 with funeral services following at 3:00 pm in Manes Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Harold Ball officiating.
Burial will be held 10:30 am Monday, November 11, 2019 in Union Cemetery.
