Memorial services for Mr. Jesse Lee Wells will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 13, 2019, in the Chapel of Rush Funeral Home, Pineville, Louisiana with a time of visitation beginning at 3:00 p.m., under the direction of Rush Funeral Home, Pineville.
Mr. Wells, 26, of Boyce, Louisiana entered eternal rest on Wednesday, November 6, 2019, in his residence with his loving family by his side. He was born to Marty and Kathy Wells in Alexandria, on December 22, 1992.
He attended Oak Hill High School and was a graduate of the 2012 class. He grew up in Gardner and truly enjoyed the outdoors. He loved fishing, hunting and gardening. Every spring he would grow a small garden consisting of tomatoes, squash and beans. He shared a love for raising and caring for animals with his wife, Julia. It was a love that he hoped to pass on to his children. His proudest moments were when his children were born and when he and Julia got married. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Leroy Wells and maternal grandmother, Dorothy Marler.
Those left to mourn his loss and cherish his memory include his loving wife, Julia Wells; two children, Naomi Wells and Eli Wells; his parents, Kathy and Marty Wells; one sister, Kalyn Morphew and her husband, James Morphew; one brother, Brandon Wells; four nieces, Skyla Miller, Amelia Morphew, Evylyn Graves and Angela Graves and one nephew, Samuel Morphew.
