Barbara I. Gentry, 82, of Kenosha, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, Tuesday, November 5, 2019 at her residence. She was born on April 17, 1937 to the late Elmer and Margaret (Milton) Bock in Chicago.

She was educated in the schools of Chicago. She married George Gentry and he precedes her in death. Barbara was a security guard for Pinkerton’s in McHenry, IL for many years. Barbara loved playing games, bingo, being on Facebook and fishing. She was an avid Chicago Cubs fan and loved Elvis. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family.

Barbara is survived by her children Maxie Osborn, Patricia (Harry) Ammon and Bonnie (Darrell) Wease, her 20 grandchildren, her 24 great grandchildren and her sisters-in-law Ruth and Jackie.

She is preceded in death by her son Michael Osborne, her granddaughter Patty Jo Strong, her brothers Robert and Danny Bock and twin grandsons.

A Celebration of Life for Barbara will be held on Saturday, November 23rd at 1:00 p.m. at the Bruch Funeral Home. Visitation will be held on Saturday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service. Memorials to the family would be appreciated. A luncheon will follow at the Bulls Eye Bar (2717 – 60th Street).
