Jason was born in Carthage, NC on May 25, 1934 to the late Herman R. Bryant and Mildred Key Bryant.
He was a college instructor, a computer consultant and enjoyed woodworking.
A daughter, Beth Bryant, preceded him in death.
Surviving are his wife of 62 years, Annette Poteat Bryant; three children, Mike Bryant and wife Kandice of Marion, Janice Bryant and husband Greg Randolph of Chapel Hill, and Jason M. Bryant of Guangzhou, China; a brother, Russell H. Bryant of Southern Pines; two sisters, Marian Maness of Greensboro and Patricia Myers of Asheboro; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
A Service of Remembrance will take place on Sunday, November 10, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Westmoreland Funeral Home in Marion.
