He then married Alice Marie McClellon, daughter of Charles & Henrietta (Holman) McClellon, on 17 Jun 1928 in Cuyahoga Co., Ohio.

Phyllis b. 7 May 1899 (she married Lawrence Bryant on 26 May 1916 by Rev. Beasley, they had a son Lawrence Kenneth Bryant and a son Robert. In 1930 Sarah, age 56, was living with Phyllis & her family in Columbus, Ohio.)

Robert is buried in the part of Peninsula Cemetery that is off Rock Point Road incorrectly called Manchester Cemetery. Peninsula Cemetery was cut through in 1964 for the I-70 road/tunnel project.
