PICKENS - William Floyd Masters, 85, of Meadowbrook Lane, Rt. 5, a retired textile employee and farmer, died Sunday.
A native of Pickens County, son of the late William Snow and Alice Cantrell Masters, he was a member of Griffin Baptist Church.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Sallie Turner Masters; a daughter, Mrs. John Mary Wade of Pickens; three sons, Larry W. Masters of Easley, Glazner S. Masters of Pickens and Claude B. Masters of Pooler, Ga.; four brothers, C. E., J. K. and Jarrett Masters of Easley and Bolt Masters of Rock Hill; four sisters, Mrs. Bessie Holcombe and Mrs. Sudie Roper of Easley, Mrs. Essie Hendricks and Mrs. Lillian Day of Pickens; seven grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Funeral plans will be announced by Dillard Funeral Home.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday.
